Md. Jobayer Mia is currently working as a Lecturer at the Department of Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering, Bangladesh Maritime University. He is passionate about Engineering, Creative thinking, Entrepreneurship, and Community Services. His research interests include Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Offshore Structure Simulation, Blue Economy, Ship Design and Performance, Maritime Safety, and Renewable Energy. He has worked on projects related to Flow Simulation, Structural Analysis, and Maritime Safety in Bangladesh. He has published research articles in well-known journals at home and abroad. He has a strong commitment to teamwork and the capacity to handle challenging situations effectively.

With a keen eye for organization and a talent for delegation, he ensured that all members have a platform to share their ideas and that the executive team is able to operate at maximum efficiency. Under his leadership, the club had organized a host of inspiring events including "World environment day 2023 celebraton, Ship Design ompetition 2022, Climate Quiz 2022, etc." to motivate students and cultivate a passion for learning.
